2 Months Old

Exciting Milestones

  • Begins to smile at people and look at your face.
  • Makes cooing or gurgling sounds.
  • Holds their head up when on their tummy.

Vaccines & Care

We will check your baby's growth, discuss safe sleep, and provide the following standard immunizations: DTaP, Hib, Polio (IPV), Pneumococcal (PCV), Rotavirus (oral drops), and Hepatitis B.

4 Months Old

Exciting Milestones

  • Chuckles or laughs when you try to make them smile.
  • Reaches for toys and holds objects in their hands.
  • Holds their head steady without support.

Vaccines & Care

We will administer the second round of their primary series to keep their immunity strong: DTaP, Hib, Polio (IPV), Pneumococcal (PCV), and Rotavirus.

6 Months Old

Exciting Milestones

  • Knows familiar faces and likes to look at themselves in a mirror.
  • Takes turns making sounds with you and blows "raspberries."
  • Rolls from tummy to back.

Vaccines & Care

Time for solid foods! We will discuss feeding strategies, teething, and provide: DTaP, Hib, Polio (IPV), Pneumococcal (PCV), Rotavirus, Hepatitis B, and an annual flu shot (if in season).

1 Year Old (12 Months)

Exciting Milestones

  • Plays games like "pat-a-cake" and waves "bye-bye."
  • Calls parents "mama" or "dada."
  • Pulls up to stand and walks holding onto furniture.

Vaccines & Care

Happy Birthday! This visit involves important developmental checks, lead screenings (if applicable), and a new set of vaccines: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox), Hepatitis A, and boosters for DTaP, Hib, and PCV.

18 Months Old

Exciting Milestones

  • Points to show you things they find interesting.
  • Tries to say three or more words besides "mama" or "dada."
  • Walks without holding onto anyone or anything.

Vaccines & Care

We will do a standard autism screening (M-CHAT) and administer any remaining booster shots from the 12-15 month schedule.

4 to 6 Years Old (Kindergarten Readiness)

Exciting Milestones

  • Plays comfortably with other children and tells stories.
  • Can answer simple questions like "What is a coat for?"
  • Hops on one foot and can draw a person with 3 or more body parts.

Vaccines & Care

Before your little one heads off to school, they need their booster shots to keep them protected in the classroom: DTaP, Polio, MMR, and Varicella (Chickenpox). We will also complete any required school health and vision forms!

11 to 12 Years Old (Middle School)

Exciting Milestones

  • Experiencing rapid physical and emotional changes.
  • Developing more complex thinking and stronger peer relationships.

Vaccines & Care

As your child enters their pre-teen years, their immunity from childhood starts to wear off. We will administer pre-teen boosters: Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis booster), Meningococcal (MenACWY), and HPV (Human Papillomavirus - 2 doses required).
