Dr. Husam Bakdash is a highly skilled cardiologist with expertise in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He has been a valued member of the Heartland Cardiology team since August 2008. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bakdash serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, where he is dedicated to educating future healthcare professionals.

As the Chair of Cardiology at Via Christi Hospitals, Dr. Bakdash oversees a team of experts committed to providing exceptional care. His extensive experience includes performing heart catheterizations, transesophageal echocardiography, permanent pacemaker implantations, and a variety of stress tests. Dr. Bakdash has a particular interest in preventive cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging, helping patients manage and prevent cardiovascular conditions with the latest diagnostic techniques.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Bakdash enjoys spending quality time with his wife and four children.
