Scheduling & Preparing for Your Visit

Call us at (620) 914-1200 during clinic hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and our team will help you find a convenient time. You can also reach out through our patient portal to request an appointment.
We do our best to accommodate same-day appointments when availability allows. Call us as early in the day as possible and we'll work to get you in. For emergencies, our Emergency Department is open 24/7.
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card(s), a list of current medications (including dosages), and any relevant medical records or referral paperwork. Arriving 15 minutes early helps us get you checked in smoothly.

Paying for Your Care

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you're unsure whether we accept your specific plan, please call us at (620) 914-1200 and our billing team will be happy to verify your coverage before your visit.

Emergency & Inpatient Care

Yes. Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Patterson Health Center is a certified Level IV Trauma Center, equipped to evaluate, stabilize, and diagnose patients in an emergency. Learn more about our hospital services →
Yes. Patterson Health Center has inpatient beds for patients who need to stay overnight or longer for observation, treatment, or recovery. Our nursing team provides around-the-clock care in a comfortable, modern environment.
Our Skilled Swing Bed program allows patients who no longer need acute hospital care but aren't quite ready to go home to continue recovering right here at Patterson Health Center. Medications & Your Health Information

Contact your pharmacy and they can send a refill request to your provider. You can also call our clinic at (620) 914-1200 or message your provider through the patient portal. Please allow up to 48 hours for refill requests to be processed.
You can access the patient portal through our website — look for the "Patient Portal" link at the top of the page. The portal lets you view test results, message your provider, and manage appointments. If you need help getting set up, our front desk staff can walk you through it. Go to Patient Portal →
You can request your medical records by contacting our Health Information Management department at (620) 914-1200. You'll need to complete and sign a records release form, which is available at our front desk or can be mailed to you.

Specialized Care at Patterson Health Center

In addition to our clinic and hospital services, we offer specialty outpatient services including behavioral health, pain management (through our HPM partnership), wound healing, Senior Life Solutions, outpatient rehabilitation, radiology, nutritional support, and more. View all services →
It depends on your insurance plan and the service. Some programs — like Senior Life Solutions — accept referrals from anyone, including self-referrals. Others may require a referral from your primary care provider. If you're unsure, call us at (620) 914-1200 and we'll help you figure out the next step.
Yes, some of our services offer virtual visit options so you can connect with your provider from home using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Ask when scheduling your appointment if a virtual visit is available for your needs.
